"My Essentials" at the Wenham Museum

Wenham Museum
I am very pleased and excited to introduce my new exhibit at the Wenham Museum! Please book tickets to see it www.wenhammuseum.org/visitor and use the code "tina" for 10% off.

From the press release; "This show is a product of a surge of creativity that many are experiencing during the Covid-19 lockdown. Rawson is a Newburyport resident who paints dynamic acrylic, oil, and watercolor pieces inspired by colorful flowers, beaches, travel, nature, horses, and even coffee!" (Well what artist isn't fueled by coffee?) :)

Please go see it! And if something catches your eye it is all for sale. Just ask at the desk.

More from the press release: "Moved by the beauty of local forests, Rawson found great solace in painting regional trees and flowers. She also dove into her “bucket list” of places to go once the pandemic is over, which resulted in charming watercolor and ink pieces. Also included will be other new pieces, like Bouquet on Purple, and Raps, which was inspired by her homesickness for Sweden and her contemplation of how the virus is being handled there.

Rawson’s style is loose, colorful, emotionally expressive, and hints at impressionist work. She hopes to bring her love of art to everyone, and the feeling of joy is unmistakable in such pieces as Hyacinths, created on handmade Mexican paper, Pink Sky over Pink House, and Moody Plum Island, a painting of the shore.

Rawson is a professionally trained artist, a member of the Newburyport Art Association, and a North Shore Atelier participant. Recently she funneled the time and energy she gained from the hiatus of her business, Start 2 Art (an art school for children), into breaking out her brushes, painting, and training with Amira Rahim of the Better Than Art School (BTAS). For more information on Tina Rawson, please visit https://www.artworkarchive.com/profile/tina-rawson.

The Wenham Museum is located at 132 Main St., Wenham, MA 01984, and is open Monday through Friday 10-1, Saturday 10-4, and Sunday 12-4. All visitors are required to wear masks, and because we must limit the number of people in the building, tickets must be purchased online in advance of your visit at https://www.wenhammuseum.org/visit/. "

Thank you and remember to use code "tina"! The show will be up until mid-November, and for you collectors out there I would be happy to meet you there, and tell you about the inspiration behind each piece. You will love this museum! I sure do! Thank you #wenhammuseum
