Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning! I hope that you all have a very wonderful Thanksgiving if you are in the States, and a happy Thursday if abroad. It's a dreary day but very a very happy one here at Huset Lagom because our kids are home from college. The eldest lives with us actaully, but travels a lot, the youngest is studying art in New York. It's hard making a go as an artist but I believe in her, and we are giving her everything that she might need to succeed. Plus she's a hell of an artist and has a lot of gumption, and that's what it really takes. It's the fire inside that keeps you going, and the belief in yourself and your art. I'm grateful to have that finally at my august age, and to hopefully pass on my meager learnings to our youngest. Happy to be an artist and to make things with my hands, I can't believe that some people never get to do that, it seems so sad to me. Technology is the future but the future looks bleak if that's the case. I like to believe that having technology frees us up to do more fun stuff like making things, not liking make making more confusing technology which seems to be the case. Do you ever wonder why they keep "fixing stuff" when it just makes it harder to use? Rant over.
