Poodle Painting Commission

Someone saw my painting of the horse's eye and commissioned one of her puppies' eyes. She used to breed poodles, one of the most intelligent and soulful types of dogs. It was quite a challenge considering how important Sparkle was to her, and how much I wanted to honor her dog. I hope that this painting completed in 2018 is still a cherished possession and reminds her of her sweet puppy. The original photo is included in this photo to show you the likeness. Words were added in gold down the side with the owner's permission which read "Eyes that do not see do not cry". It was painted on a birch panel.
