Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who is putting their lives on the line everyday and putting their families at risk every night when they get home. I have been meaning to make a painting thanking first responders for a while, but I didn't want it to be trite or expected. Yesterday when we were walking in the woods I came across a beautiful tree with messages rasped into it and I saw my chance. It was the perfect confluence of  nature, and the peace that it brings to so many of us, and the message "we love you first responders"!  Don't you use a tree for a loving message? We saw lots of them!
